7 Howell Bouncers!

I have just purchased 7 chrome Howell Bouncers from a seller near Chicago. They were manufactured by the Howell Manufacutring Company of St. Charles, Illinois in the 1930s. I am so excited to get 7 all at once. I can hardly wait to have them restored and on the site. These are very comfortable, heavy, well-made chairs. They have gentle spring action that is so soothing. I will have custom cushions made for them. My thinking now is to have just the inner cushions made so they can be slip-covered to suit individual tastes. I have 2 chrome Howell Bouncers in my own home (not on my porch). They look awesome…everybody who sees them wants to know all about them.
