For a few days last week, spring was in full swing in Charlotte, North Carolina. The Southern Spring Home and Garden Show was awash in colorful blooms and glorious gardens. They were more spectacular than I ever remember seeing them in the past. I met so many interesting people who stopped by Studio Cleary’s mid-century display.
One side of Ted’s garden design represented the 50s-60s; the other,
Contemporary design using mid-century elements. Ted’s concept and implementation were flawless. I was glad to be able to share the beauty of Mulberry Street vintage outdoor furniture with so many people.
Everyone seems excited about the arrival of spring this year. Lots of ideas and questions about how to develop them were par for the course at the show. People are so creative and love their homes so much. It was exciting and inspiring the hear their ideas about making their space more livable and more beautiful. I’ll be posting more pictures soon. I brought home a beautiful orchid to remind me of a wonderful experience in Charlotte.
