I sat on my porch on my vintage Barcalo glider today with my cats. It was 70 degrees. Hard to believe after last week’s weather. One more spring approaching. I wonder how many springs my old glider has seen. I think about all the events it has witnessed, all the moments and conversations - some joyful, others painful, but most just ordinary, everyday happenings. Other people just like me have sat there, maybe with their cats, their children or their neighbors, on an unseasonably warm day in February, reminded that spring will eventually get here.
